THE SEA Two strong winds – the Tramuntana and the Garbí – together with our large beach have made Sant Pere Pescador a notable gathering place for lovers of sea sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Year after year, the ideal weather conditions prevailing over the sea here have facilitated the staging of the World Windsurfing Championship on our beaches.

THE RIVER Water plays a key role in Sant Pere Pescador. From the Fluvià river to the Mediterranean Sea, water irrigates our crops, fills our wetlands, draws the rods of fishermen and carries along the vessels and surf boards of water sports enthusiast.
